turns out monday the thirteenth is my un-lucky day. dallas is experiencing record high temperatures and our air conditioner is currently blowing hot air. the thermostat reads 82 degrees. molly woke up from her nap looking like a drowned rat from sweating , sam has a heat rash under his chin, clay woke up flushed in the face, i'm typing this in nothing but my running shorts and a sports bra...michael, on the other hand, wore his winter pj's for a greater part of the day.
while we were away on vacation, our house was burglarized. looks like the stealth skills of the CSI Dallas crew comprised of amy, alicia, alex, nancy and judy in conjunction with the CSI Beach Squad (jessica, lee, mom, dad, and me) have been unsuccessful in cracking the mystery that is our robbery. thankfully i was able to manage the situation from afar and the house was back to "normal" within 24 hrs of the discovery. details to follow...
next post will be pics from the beach! we had such a great time. now, i'm ready for my vacation from my children.
