sitting in my family room listening to the hum of the oscillating fans that surround me.....day four air conditioner still broken. makes me appreciate the fact that we have said device and makes me wonder how former generations survived in south louisiana's heat and humidity without.
the children seem nonplussed by the heat. what makes adults intolerant of the heat while my little people run around, with a heads full of sweat, glistening faces and smiles?? ashley and i have been miserable during the day. sitting in stagnant heat depletes me of everything. i'm unable to think straight, i feel like my emotions are on edge.
hopefully the air will be cooler in the white house today!
