believe it or not, next week molly kate will be TWO years old and the boys will be TWO months old. OH.MY!!! how time does fly.
last night lee and i went to a meeting for incoming kindergarten students. i am beyond impressed. i really wasn't expecting to hear so many wonderful things about the school. the team of teachers is amazing. out of the six teachers four of them have been there for over 15 years some more than 20...how special is THAT??
it was very surreal for me to attend that meeting. i really do feel like time has been on a warp speed ride and i can't seem to catch up. how is it that my first born, my baby boy, is going to be in kindergarten? how is that? uniforms, homework, extra-curricular activities...this is the big time. how is it that my drama girl is going to be TWO next week? didn't i JUST bring her home from the hospital? she REALLY has grown up in the blink of an eye. she and michael are amazing siblings to sam and clay. all they want to do is hug and kiss on them, help when they are crying, and feed them their bottles (or a cheese cracker). i am so fortunate to have such wonderful children.
and friends...where do i begin. my friends are amazing. amazing! annie and nicole came over last night to watch all four children while lee and i went to the meeting. isn't that the nicest thing? amy watched the twins while i went to target on monday...andrea is always there to grab a prescription or diapers for me if she is out. melissa...i can't begin to say everything she has done for me, most of all her emotional support has helped me tremendously.
my friend cathy came to visit from michigan this weekend. how wonderful it was to see her and to visit. we went to dinner friday night, saturday i took her and tina to central falls so they could get some petit frere/petite soeur goods and they got some clothes for them TOO, bonus!
