we have had such kind, generous friends bringing us dinners on a consistent basis. thank you to everyone who is keeping my family well fed. last wednesday annie, nicole, missy and i went to dinner at fireside pies. thanks girls...it was great to get out of the house and be sharon again. the stories, laughter, support and advice is exactly what i needed.
sam and clay are doing well. the three of us are getting into somewhat of a groove during the days while molly and michael are at school. thankfully, the director of their school and a dear friend, micah is helping me with pick-up for now. i know that won't last long, but it is a huge help at this time. other momentous firsts include their first tub bath and introduction to the almighty swing. i realized (and you can see below) that there ARE benefits to having an empty formal dining room. perfect place for the swings. the time has come to remove clay's arm band. it is getting tight. now we must establish some sort of identification marker for them. ideas?
michael and molly are also doing well. they had a lot of fun playing hockey outside this weekend. and by hockey i mean hitting a baseball with baseball bats into a soccer goal. thank goodness for imaginations. michael had his finger slammed in the door at school, but he is okay, despite the oscar winning performance as the lead actor in a drama. speaking of drama....molly kate is just that DRAMA. she is so full of spunk and sassiness i can't even deal. i have to get a picture of her making "The Face" at me when i correct her. i have to mention how fortunate i am to have two such loving children. they are so gentle and loving to the twins. all they want to do is hug and kiss them, all of the time. i actually have to be stern with them to back off at times. i will have to work hard to establish some personal boundaries for these guys. michael and molly would definetly qualify as "close talkers" when it comes to sam and clay.
here are a few pictures from the past week. next week nan is coming back since everyone in the family has an appointment (other than lee). we can't wait to have her back.
