rosie the riveter!

after living here for three years, i've finally gotten a LOT of things done around the house that i've been wanting to do. albeit required, the improvements have made this house look fresh! ever since we moved in i have dreamed of having the trim painted throughout the house. little did i know i would be the one to get the job completed. i started with a small task that entailed touching up dings and chips in said trim. a word to the wise: you can't touch up trim. so, i have about three door frames left and i will have painted the trim in the entire downstairs. not that i'm counting but that is 21 door frames, four columns, baseboards throughout, wainscoting in the family room, and the outer edges of all built-ins in the great room. i've become good friends with my can of dover white and it truly amazing is the difference new trim paint makes.

i've also torn up four tiles in the laundry room, laid new tiles in their place and grouted the job and painted the kiddo's bath from turquoise to white.

now, will SOMEONE buy this house!? ;-)
