so, i'm a copy cat. i can't decorate to save my life, but if i see something in a magazine or in someone's house, i can totally make it happen somewhere else. i wish i was one of those people that had the gift of space planning and staging. speaking of those types, one of the houses we looked at is owned by a professional space planner and interior designer. i actually had to have a friend (annie) come with me under the follwing directions "i need you to tell me whether i like the house for the house or whether i like the hosue for the decorating" but i digress...
she had this bedding on twin beds in her daughter's room with turquoise bedskirts!!! it was simply ADORABLE. i have been searching high and low for this duvet which has been discontinued by ikea. boooo. anyway, i just had to mention this because searching for this and for houses as become a slight obsession of mine.
post script....i realized after posting this and having the blog on my screen that CLEARLY the design choices of that homeowner inspired my blog's new look.
