michael turned FIVE on the 13th! we had an awesome birthday party and our special surprise guest was the snake man! everyone loved him and he really provided such great entertainment! michael is full scale into baseball. lee has taken him to four rangers games this month and they were on tv tuesday night during the rain delay. he's determined to meet michael young and invite him to our house. he also started his t-ball season and is really enjoying his new teamates and coach garth!
school is out for summer! and you know what that means! INCREASED DOSAGE! lord. the non stop revolving door is exhausting and it's only been four days. thankfully i have convinced my dear dear wonderful amy to do a summer learning program with me to provide some structure. basically we have decided on a theme for every week of the summer and i'm doing my best to coordinate the lesson plans for the week. this was Creepy Crawly week and we learned about bugs. We probably did about 25% of what was planned. But, hey, it's a start!
Sam and Clay are growing like i've never seen children grow before. I think they are both getting their lower teeth since the drooling is out of control. They are literally BUSTING out of the clothes they comfortably wore two weeks ago. I guess all of that sleeping was just a growth spurt? Thankfully, I DO believe that they are sleeping through the night. We have had almost two weeks of 11-12 hour nights.
molly is such a doll. we have really taken a new approach with her and started to set aside time for MOLLY ONLY. it's amazing how easily she gets "lost" in the shuffle. with michael's non stop monologuing and the demanding nature of mo twins i really have to be consciencious about reading/playing/singing with her. i can see such a difference in her already!
