what a week!

i should have sensed the dark clouds rolling in when michael cut my hair on Thursday. Friday morning he woke up with a fever and had a fever all day Saturday. By Sunday he was feeling better but still wasn't quite himself. He woke up Monday feeling well, and had a great day at school. Tuesday was the same. However, he came home from school yesterday VERY hot, with a headache and a sore neck. I called the advice nurse and she wanted us to take him to the referral care center at children's hospital. lee came home changed and took him to the hospital. They referred him to the ER thinking he may have meningitis. they waited in the ER for 8 hours only to be released with the following plan of care: gentle massage on his heck, moist heat, and tylenol. no CBC, no strep test, nothing. they did a brief diagnostic look over him and sent lee home. they finally got home around 4 this morning. Molly decided this afternoon to fall down our flight of stairs. She will definitely have a black eye in the morning. Our good friends have had a trip to the ER and a pulled tooth this week too. Something is in the air!
