nearly a year has gone by since my last post. I don't even know what to say since so much has happened. I will do my best to summarize.
Within the past 11 months Molly turned 1 and Michael turned 4. They have both grown and changed so much in the past year. I can't believe Michael is starting Pre-K 4 in September! He will start going 5 days a week. This means, that this time, next year...he will be starting KINDERGARTEN!!!!!!!!!!!! He is very into Monster Trucks and is quite entertaining when he puts on a show for us. He and Molly have both really enjoyed the Olympics. They usually perform for us every night. Last night they put on quite an entertaining track meet.
Molly is into everything. Walking, talking, playing with her big brother. They simply adore each other. I do believe, however, that Molly quite enjoys it when Michael is at school and she isn't. She is just like Michael was at this age. She can sit and play by herself for the longest time. She loves to read and play with Mr. Potato Head.
We were on the receiving end of the most shocking news in our lives recently. In January, we decided we would start trying for baby #3. In May, while in Baton Rouge, we found out we were successful in said attempts. A couple of weeks later at my doctor's office while in for a routine u/s and blood work for pregnancy confirmation, we found out we are expecting TWINS.
Things have definitely been a bit on the wild side with a 4 year old, 1.5 year old and twin boys on the way. We are all trying to wrap our brains around the impending chaos. It should be quite a ride.
Thankfully, I have a wonderful mother who can come to help us when the babies come. I have come to realize recently how much Michael and Molly will need Lee and I during this time of change. We will both have to sacrifice a lot when it comes to our personal lives and our jobs.
With that all said, we are all doing extremely well, the pregnancy has had a few unexpected turns, but everyone is okay and thriving.
I will try to update every week with news about M&M as well as the pregnancy. (and Lee and me if anyone cares ;-) )
Until then,
s
