blog: take one

i am going to try my best to do this thing called blogging. i know a lot of you keep blogs for family and friends that are out of town, and have encouraged me to do the same. as i approach this task with fortitude, i ask that you remain patient; keep me on my toes if i slack and check in often. i am thinking positively about my ability to do this ;)
